Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Ootytaxiservice, your trusted travel partner for safe and comfortable taxi and cab services. By booking or using our services through our website, mobile app, or phone, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Booking and Confirmation

Bookings can be made through our website or by phone, or via WhatsApp.

A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation message/email from us.

Please ensure that all details provided during booking (pickup location, destination, date, time, passenger count, etc.) are accurate.

Any incorrect information may result in delay, cancellation, or additional charges.

2. Payments

The fare for the trip will be provided at the time of booking.
Payment can be made online, through UPI, card, or cash to the driver as specified.

Advance payments must be completed to confirm your booking.

Additional charges may apply for tolls, parking, waiting time, or detours not included in the original booking.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made at least [24 hours] before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a refund of the advance payment.
During the peak season, advance payments are non-refundable for cancellations.

If the Company cancels the booking due to vehicle unavailability, mechanical issues, or other valid reasons, a full refund will be issued.

Refunds will be processed within [5–7 business days] to the original payment method.

4. Responsibilities of the Passenger

The Customer must be present at the pickup location at the scheduled time.

Passengers are expected to maintain cleanliness and avoid damage to the vehicle.

Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

The Customer shall ensure that luggage or belongings are within permissible weight and size limits. The Company is not liable for loss of personal items left in the cab.

5. Driver and Vehicle Conduct

All our drivers are licensed and trained for safe driving.

The driver reserves the right to refuse a ride if the passenger is intoxicated, behaves inappropriately, or poses a safety risk.

In case of vehicle breakdown or accident, the Company will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternate vehicle or refund the fare proportionately.

6. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances

The Company is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control.

In hill stations or rural areas, road and weather conditions may affect travel time and service availability.

7. Liability

The Company’s liability is limited to the value of the fare charged for the specific booking.

We are not liable for indirect losses such as missed flights, hotel check-ins, or other consequential damages arising from delays or service interruptions.

8. Use of Website and App

You agree not to misuse the website/app or attempt to disrupt its operation.

All website content, including text, logos, and images, is the property of the Company and cannot be used without prior permission.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and store your information (name, phone number, location, payment details) only for service purposes.

Your data will not be shared with third parties except as required to complete bookings or by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [City, State]
